Arctic Wolf Emergency Management and Safety Solutions was contacted by Waterways Environmental Ltd. to work in the EOC and act as "Incident Command System (ICS)" Subject Matter Expert and Deputy Safety Officer.

Waterways was subcontracted through Ocean Legacy Foundation and Coastal Restoration Society to the BC Ministry of Environment and Climate Control.

 

Arctic Wolf developed Project Specific Safety Plans, Project Specific Emergency Response Plans that were updated and enhanced to include new safety and emergency evacuation concerns. Daily safety messages were issued that included updated weather and river flood conditions, wildlife (animal, bird & snake) hazards plus the review of an approved procedure, i.e., working safely around helicopters.

 

Numerous safety training sessions were provided including introduction to ICS, Supervisor's Safety Responsibilities as well as a River Spill Response Course provided to the Nicola Valley First Nations.​
